How to Make the Unforgettable Car Video

Updated October 16, 2026

Quick answer

Add one selfie, and a photo of your car if you want your own car in the reveal, choose a mode and a resolution, then generate. The clip comes back 12 seconds, 9:16 and silent. Add the sound in TikTok or Reels when you post.

What You Need

  • A clear, well-lit selfie facing the camera, at least about 300 × 300 pixels
  • Optional: a photo with your whole car in frame, if you want your own car in the reveal
  • Credits: 408 for a 480p reveal, 912 for 720p ($1 = 100 credits)

Step 1 — Choose your photos

For the selfie, face the camera in good light with one visible face. Sunglasses, heavy filters and tiny faces in group shots all make the swap worse.

For the car, any photo with the whole car in frame works — a street shot, a dealer photo or a phone snap. The reveal keeps its colour, shape and stance, so a clear angle helps.

Step 2 — Pick a mode

Your car takes two photos: the selfie first, then the car. Both the person and the car behind them in the reveal are replaced, so the car in the clip is the one you photographed.

Step 3 — Pick a resolution and generate

Both modes are priced by resolution: a 12-second reveal costs 408 credits at 480p and 912 at 720p. The studio shows the exact cost next to the button before you press it.

Generation runs in the background. You can close the page — the task keeps running and the finished clip is saved to your history.

Step 4 — Download and add the sound

The output is silent on purpose: a clip carrying a commercial recording tends to get muted or blocked, and the reveal tools cannot ship the track anyway.

Upload the MP4, tap "Add sound", search for "Unforgettable French Montana" and pick the slowed version most posts use. Mark the post as AI-generated if the app asks.

Step 5 — Get the photos right

  • One person per photo, facing the camera, with the face sharp and well lit.
  • At least about 300 × 300 pixels per photo — smaller images are rejected before generation.
  • No group shots, no tiny faces, no sunglasses or heavy filters, and only photos you have the right to use.

Photo Checklist

Works well

  • One person facing the camera
  • Even light on the face
  • The whole car in frame, in focus

Works badly

  • Group shots or tiny faces
  • Sunglasses, masks or heavy filters
  • Half a car, or a car hidden behind something

If Something Goes Wrong

What if the face or the car looks wrong?

Try again with a clearer photo — one sharp, well-lit face and the whole car in frame. Failed runs return their credits automatically.

Why was my photo rejected?

Reference images below about 300 × 300 pixels are rejected before the paid request. Use a larger photo with the subject clearly visible.

Can I redo a video without paying again?

Every accepted generation costs credits. If a run fails or is rejected the credits come back, so only a completed video is charged.

Can I use someone else's photo?

Only with that adult's permission. Do not upload photos of minors or of public figures, and do not publish a clip of someone who has not agreed.

How-to FAQ

No. Just you keeps the car that is already in the reveal, so you can make the clip from a selfie alone.

Make your own reveal

One selfie is enough for a 12-second clip — add a car photo to put your own car behind you.
